Default Stainless Steel recyclers in Calgary

We are replacing a kitchen sink in our condo and was wondering if anyone knows a place in Calgary that recycles stainless steel sinks. Do they pay for sinks? (similar to places that recycle pop cans?). I would hate to send this to a landfill - since stainless steel will never degrade in our lifetime.

    uhh yes it will

all you have to do is take a chunk of steel wool, ( that is TRUE steel), get through the coating and just rub it on the stainless

    EDIT***

let me rephrase that, you need to get some true CARBON steel, cause technically stainless is true steel as well

when cut open, the rambutan unfortunately fails miserably to deviate from its outwardly testicular appearance, revealing an inside that looks for all the world exactly how you'd expect the contents of a scrotum to look.

    Lightbulb What you could do....

You could contact the fire-hall and see where to recycle your sink. They deal with a lot of industrial items like chemicals and batteries. They have a kean eye on our environment and might provide some solution. Another idea is to try selling it online. You'd be surprised about the people who look for stuff like that especially in drama/theatre. I hope this helps. It's awesome that you're looking for a place that it can go where it wont fill another hole in the ground.
