    Default Impaired driving charge

anyone have suggestions or know good lawyer to get someone out of an impaired driving charge?

I used to see all these commercials on late night air-cable for impaired driving lawyers, I haven't seen any in the last few days.

the lawyers that advertise late at night are hurting for business (don't risk it!), i recommend setting appointments with afew different lawyers to get a feel of what there about...

impaired driving is one charge that can be 100% avoided though...

go see a lawyer quick . . . assuming your friend has already been charged . . . had a friend get all charges dropped by calling his lawyer as soon as he was released . . . his lawyer took him for a private breathalyzer test . . . test showed little or no alcohol in his system 10 hrs after he was charged . . .using expert witnesses that testified on the timeline of alcohol elimination by the body in court . . . he was able to drop all charges, cost him quite a bit though but imo impaired driving is rough . . . should fight at all costs

on a sidenote, if ever you are pulled over and forced to take a breathalyzer test, keep in mind that you can call your lawyer, so it is good to always keep a lawyer's card in your wallet, call him and tell him what's going on and let him know he can take his sweet ass time getting to you . . . hopefully you'll be sober by the time he gets there . . . a good 5 or 6 hrs later haha

Not sure on by how much, but the breathalyzer was failed, and it was taken 3 hours after the accident. (parked car, no bystander was injured)

i think refusing to blow is something else they can charge you with as well, a lawyer doesn't necessarily have to be present.

yikes. DUI is bad. Now im of the belief that if you got caught drunk driving, you should probably loose you liscence and never dirve again. Having said that, for your chum, he should get a lawyer right quick. Im not sure how much error is normal in a breathalizer, but it cant be very much, so if he blew over he is probably well fucked.

ya if you refuse they can charge you with that but its way less serious than an actual DUI...

oh shit, this kinda DUI means he has a different way out, tell him not to fill out any paperwork or give any sort of evidence be it written or verbal until he sees a lawyer, then tell him to lie his ass off and say he got drunk after the accident . . .

my previous example, i had assumed checkstop pull over . . .

and refusing to blow is a criminal charge but asking for a lawyer to be present is perfectly in your right to do so

    Funny about that.....

Driving drunk is a good way to hit large objects that arent moving.
