The night started off with my driving my girlfriend home, well i guess that wasnt the night starting off... but racing wise ...
this convertabile 5.0L pulls right up beside me and just sits even with me... i love to race so i take off...
i notice he down shifts and i took him easy... then i slow down he slows down he rolls by me about 10 clicks more then me... i gun he guns... i was on the outside had my girl in the car, had my subs going and i still EASILY took him.. i8m talking by the top of 4th gear to about 180km in 5th i was 10 cars in front... he was alone in his car
this was on deerfoot by the way
then driving home, see an integra with nice rims... pull up nod the head... he shakes and i give him a wave and a nice smile like ohh nice ride... i roll beside him for a while when this nice bran new trans am pulls up to the both of us... then floors away!
im not a cocky kid so i didnt even want to mess...
but i thoght beh i beat a 5.0L why not... pull up... look at him, he looks at me... we both nod at the same time...
we are off.. he didnt pull at all... we where perfectly side by side...and i mean perfect.. but i was on the outside corner, he was inside.. heading south just before south land turn off... road straightens out and i pull on him pretty good!
im thinking, ohh its a stinky v6.. then we slow down and he and says what the hell do you got... i just go not much! we keep on going... follow each other for about 10 min...
pull up to the lights i say... where you acually trying.. he says " ya man, i was going all at it from 3500 rpm in 5th all the way to redline... then i asked.. well its not a v8 is it... he goes no man, this is v8 350 hp....
then its my turn to go ... he says lets go off the line... i say, no way man, your torque will whoop me off the line
so anyway we go at it.. i had a good start and we stay side by side tell about 3rd gear he pulls half a car length ...
i started catching up and about to pass... and he slammed on his brakes and turned off.. i gave him a huge wave...
ive never been soo happy ...
as he turned off, i thoght i saw the GTP, and i DID see the dual exhaust.. so im sure it was the v8

ive done a lot to my probe, including doubleing the stock boost level, massive weight reduction, straight exhaust... and some other suff

The only thing is that car runs 6psi boost stock, he has it running at 11.2psi, and it weighs a helluve a lot less than a v8 camaro.

There is no GTP Trans Am

There is no 350 hp V8 Trans Am - the peak is 310 hp or a reported 325 with ram air on the WS6

There is dual exhaust even on the V6 sport package, which is 200 hp / 225 ft-lbs
