I am looking for suggestions on where to stay as well as things to do (other than the obvious, chill on beach, scuba, etc).

From what I've heard you pretty much do whatever the resort has to offer since you're stuck on a little island. Just search online you'll find lots of resorts.

I worked there for 4 months. An amazing country.I was there Dec 1999 to March 2000.Things have probably changed a bit.I visited several resorts.They were very nice,but quiet.Most of the tourists were newly weds or nearly deads. Not much night life,but very romantic and relaxing.
