    Default Royal Purple Oil

Hey guys, I tried a search... didn't come up with anything though

what do you guys think of it?
Mopac has them for ~10.00/quart... so about ~50.00 for 5 quarts to do an oil change.

Is it really as good as people say? I read on their site that it helps engage the clutch faster, move in and out of gears easier, theres no whining noise when reversing etc... but it could just be a marketing thing.

For those of you who do use it, is it worth it to change over ever 3000-5000 miles?

Also, my car is pretty new its an 06 civic... I've got about 11,000 miles on it and I would be using 5w20 if that matters. because it says to wait until the car has at least 2000 miles before using royal purple.

I've personally have used royal purple before as oil in the engine, and it's big difference just the car runs smoother, and helps engage it better, as for tranny fluid I would imagine it would help a lot compared to stocked oil, and non-synthetic. For now I use Mobil 1 0W-40 in my bimmer but that's about it...

Royal Purple is excellent for both engine and tranny. Use both in my 12 second SRT/4 and recommend it. Make sure to follow manufactures specs as close as you can.

For engines, I assume it would depend the engine...
