i would rather get 3m !
bras look dumb
dumb and ugly.
3m FTW
yea bras are retarded. 3M is the shiat.
My Celica had one, and the damned thing scratched my hood pretty good.
I know some poeple who have them on for winter, make sure you lift it up and spray it off when you wash your car, and then take her off for summer.
IMO I will never get one again
Cos...
bra on a car is super ugly.
bra is only sexy for girls. not for car. hahaha.
Insurance Pro
i'm wearing a bra as we speak right now.... i'm about a C-cup, you?
oh wait, we're talking about car bras? shit....thats embarrassing...
Try 3M, bra's look so bad...
Car bras are horrible, dirt gets stuck under them and they scratch your hood. The 3m stuff is pretty good.
I had a bra once on my 240sx.....the section with the bra was different color than the body after washing...so no bra

Well imagine if instead of writing that letter to the editor, she just posts on a car forum for car enthusiasts. That's Kritafo.
Either get the 3M coat or that plastic sheild you can buy. Bra's look fine, but they do more damage then good.
Everytime I see someone with a car bra, I think of old people for some reason.

But give her a thumb in the eye just to be safe.
car bras do more damage than good.
FS: lots of Rsx base and type s parts!
Bras wont damage the car if you take care of them properly. I maintain a Grand Prix with a bra, only have it on from fall to early spring (I just took it off last weekend), and after almost 5 years, the paint is still in great shape.. I'm thinking of getting rock guarding done cuz I'm sick of cleaning it all the time.. basically though, it doesn't damage it if you care for it. Also, Le Bra is a horrible brand. Get one from Perfect Fit instead..
NOOOO don't do it! In the summer it prevents UV fading....which is bad if the car has a tinted clear.
I polished this car already...notice how there are no swirls, but the paint is discolored where the bra used to be?
I hate them! If you are going to use them, only use them in the winter, and make sure they are very very clean. Dirt and grit can get trapped inside and it scratches the paint like mad.
If you are going to get a bra go with victorias secret... okk really
go with a clear bra. The lebras and other snap on type bras will trap dirt and casue problems, they end up doing more harm then help. Definlty not worth the money unless you plan on polishing every few months and eating away at the clear
OT: I don't know that it would eat away the clear, because even with #83( IMO more cut than OP) on and a cutting pad you remove so little clear that a PTG can't tell the difference. Maybe with the new XMT #4 you might. You can polish your car with #83 daily for 10 yrs with out putting the clear at risk.
Regardless BRAS ARE VERY BAD. You can also get water trapped under the bra, the moisture cause the paint to look funny and start to turn soft. How?... I don't know, although some people say it can be eliminated with a blow dryer.
Had a bra on my teg. I will never get one again. Have 3m on the SUV and its been great thus far
Nice polish job sneek - good clarity.Originally posted by sneek
