It may seem like a steal, and maybe it was considering the year and condition. However, once you start to weed out the buyers, there aren't many people willing to pay that kind of money for an S2000. I suppose that price range opens the door to other interesting cars (E46 M3, 996/997 911's etc)Originally posted by 88CRX
And I feel like $33k for yours pacman was a steal!
I had a lot of interest in my car, but most offers were coming in at 27k to 30k. I had a few guys offer 31k and there were 2 or 3 from across Canada that actually offered my asking price and were ready to buy.
Nice cars seem to be appreciating in value and it's getting difficult to find low mileage, bone stock cars for anything less than high 20's to low 30's. I'm not sure where the market will top out for clean cars, but I wouldn't be surprised if clean, stock low mileage cars are fetching high 30's/low 40's in a few years.
