Hey what do you lads use to keep your soft tops looking nice, dark and moist? Mine is starting to look a bit faded and not so healthy.
Avoid washing it on the wax setting is a simple tip I can offer

Toyota knows exactly what the problem is (well, atleast the acceleration one) and its a software issue.
They are just waiting until NASA plasters it for the media and that, my friends, will be the final nail in the coffin.
RIP Toyota.
303 aerospace protectant. It has sunscreen in it which prevents fading. You can get it at CT. I've been using it since I got the car and got quite a few comments at the last meet about how black my top is.Originally posted by LUDELVR

After a car wash (soap + rinse) spray it on the top and take a rag and just spread it around.
You might want to wipe your glass again since the spray does leave smudge marks on glass.
Went to Canadian Tire by Southland Train Station and apparently this stuff is discontinued and I tried looking for the other brands that have been mentioned and I came up with absolutely nothing. Went to Walmart too and zilch.Originally posted by whiskas

Where do you guys buy your products from?
Auto Value carries 303.
I called them approximately 2 weeks ago to confirm and they run a little shy of $14 a bottle.
Edit: Picked it up for just under $8 a bottle at Auto Value, NE.

I'm looking to replace my old soft top with a new one and i'm wondering how useful rear defrost is in the S?
I'm under the impression that because the S has such a small cabin that the interior would warm up quicker so i might be able to live without the rear defrost.(Not saying in anyway that it's a viable replacement, i'm just wondering if i can live without)
But i wouldn't know first hand.
You're right the rear defrost is pretty useless.
But it looks hella clean instead of that gay jeep plasitc
If anybody is requiring a full a-pillar gauge pod (for 2 52mm gauges), I have one listed for $30:
