Need help, apparently, the mexican tourist bureau is after me.

So, my mom in Calgary gets a call on St. Patties day from the so called "Mexican Tourist Bureau". They immediately ask to talk to me. Of course Im all the way down in Lethbridge and Im unavailiable. So my mom asks to take a message but they say no, they cannot leave a message and will call back later that night. For some reason they never got the idea that I was in a different city so again, my mom re-ittirated this. Again they refused to leave a message and hung up.

So two things are bothering me, number 1, I havn't been to mexico in over 3 years.

Number 2, our home number is unlisted so I don;t see how they would have had access to our number.

My guess is that its some "you won a vacation" scam. Anyone had anything similar happen to them? Or are the federalies after me?

Why not just have your mom say its you and get all the info?

Its a prank call from someone who knows your number lol. and if it isnt, its mexico so who cares!

Maybe they're checking to make sure you weren't run over by a cab, or murdered by other canadians in your hotel room 3 years ago?
