Default Calgary to Vancouver Drive in April

Planning a drive from Calgary to Vancouver on the 4 day weekend in April. Does anyone know what the roads are like, on average, at this time of the year?

    Thanks.

Be careful of the cokahalla highway. Thats the only worst spot on that whole trip... all i can say is... drive safe... and make sure you have a full tank of gas.

The coquihalla has been dry for the past 3 weeks! You shouldn't have any bad weather this time of the year.

Unless you are a terrible driver, road conditions won't be a factor. But look out for rock chips. I have a massive crack on my windshield from a roadtrip in February.

Begin of May youre pushing it..end of May will be fine. Rogers pass might have some snow still, and hopefully things dry up near Van because the highway was closed 100kms east of Van due to mudslides.
Looking for a new VW? How about a used vehicle? We are Central Albertas #1 source for pre-owned vehicles
I will beat any deal on a new VW for beyonders

Do you know a good place to check up on the conditions of those slides?
