    Default Let the modding begin!!

Well I've had my car for ~6 months now and I finally purchased my first set of mods!

    OEM S4 Front Grille
    OEM S4 Door Blades
    OEM S4 Trunk Wing

Through insurance - OEM S4 Rear Bumper

I'm so excited!! This is the first Audi I've owned and couldn't be happier! Plus, when all my mods are finished I will be in heaven! haha!

SPECIAL THANKS TO MARK AT AUTOBAHN PERFORMANCE (Edmonton, AB, Canada) FOR ALL HIS HELP! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM AND HIS BUSINESS PARTNER!!

Here is what the mod plans are for this spring/summer:

Exterior: Caractere Front Bumper, Caractere Roof Spoiler, S4 E-codes w/ HIDs, Carbon Fiber B & C Pillars (waiting on Audi guy), CF Rear Valence for S4 Bumper (done by rice_eater)

Interior: CF Interior Trim (done by rice_eater)

    Electronics: RNS-E, Audio System

    Performance: Neuspeed Short Shifter

Suspension: Vogtland Coilovers, 19" BBS LM's (dream...haha) or RS4 Reps, RS4 Rear Sway Bar

My rear bumper should be done in April and then I will wait to order the Caractere parts and will then install and paint everything at once as this will save me time and money and I don't have to hassel through insurance!

I got some big plans but I'm pretty sure I can make most of it happen!

    Here are some pics:

Should look great, cant wait for pics.
One thing... LM's or RS4 reps? Pretty big difference.. (ie. 1k per wheel vs. 1k per four?)

Yea i know! I think I just have the LM's in my head! They are BY FAR my favorite BBS wheel but the price is steep! We can all dream?! Although I did hear about the reps. but they dont work on the B6's booooooo!

Haha yeah i noticed that too. 19" LM's start at around 1300/wheel

Look forward to seeing the end result!

How do you like those Vogtlands? I have them and I love them - they were very highly recommended by everyone I talked to. Good warranty too.

Additionally, careful with your ride height. I have a B5 and I know that's a B6 but on the B5, a ride height less than 25.0 inches from ground to top of the fender can cause problems with premature control arm wear. Just a thought, you've probably looked into it though anyways.

Also, Hartmann wheels make nice RS4 copies if you haven't looked there already. I believe they are about $260 USD/wheel.

Additionally, I have a VAG COM so if you ever want a scan or throw a CEL let me know I'd be happy to let you know what the problem is.

Oh you have Vogtlands?! I've been searching ALL OVER for more solid information on them but as of now they seem like the ones I am going to go for. I was looking at Stasis but have heard mixed reviews. Do you mind PM'in me your thoughts on them or if you have MSN add me! Plus VAG would be nice! Maybe even a ride?! I come back to Calgary pretty often!! Also, I heard about the ride height and I'm looking for more of a conservative drop w/ my rims!

It's kind of strange modding an Audi! There isn't that many esp. the B6! But that is awesome.. I love doing things others don't... well you know!
