Just Wanted To Introduce Myself

Hey everyone, i am a regular on CorollaCustomz and managed to stumble across this site... My name is Cameron, i'm born and raised in the beautiful city of Calgary, but am living in Victoria BC until April 1st then it's back to Calgary.

I drive a 98 corolla, but don't let the body fool you, there is very little left stock in my car (mostly interior), after having the car in the shop for the fall and winter it is now out and more powerful then ever, as far as i know i am the first person in North America to perform the 3SGTE engine swap into an 8th gen corolla, and boy does it haul now..... (a few civics have been embarrassed thinking they had power, lol i showed them otherwise)

Let me know what you think, a lot of time and effort has gone into this car, not to mention cash (but i'm sure there are a lot of ppl in the same boat there)... I look forward to rolling with u guys when i get back to Calgary....

Hell no! It was some mad props for building the ultimate sleeper. I've always talked about buying some econobox sedan, ricing it out, then putting in a killer engine. This dude here has lived out my dream! Nobody expects a 98 Corolla with altezzas to be 3s-gte powered.

haha no interior is only jokes right now when it comes to shifter etc, i won't be doing seat covers and shit like that, this summer i hope to do up the full interior black and blue suede, with nice leather 4 point racing seats up front, new gauges, new dash with built in tach would be nice.... but i figured it's way better to get the "go" into the car, then work on the show..... My goal is to make this a show car, once paint and a non-aggressive body kit is done. For paint i'm planning a chameleon paint job so it looks midnight blue in the day and shinny black at night.

haha and btw my winter tires are on a stock 14" rim, so i figure i should grab some spinner hub caps for the rest of winter when i get to town, just as even more jokes, cause any corolla with spinner hub caps, NO ONE will expect it to haul ass hahahaha

plus it's way funnier when u take someone to school who thinks all u got is some ricer looking stuff but still a base corolla. WRONG haha...

and btw i saw GTSJeff's post and i loved it, he didn't diss at all, and i loved how he put it... "Ugly Ricer Car + Unreal Engine Swap = The ultimate sleeper" yea it pretty much sums up my car right now :P

and there is always going to be someone who thinks i'm a complete retard for doing this to a rolla, and i think everyone is entitled to there opinion, i mean the car is what I love not what i want you to love, when others like it, then it's just a bonus....

forget the body kit, lose the neons, get a cluster with a tach, swap in a different shifter and please don't paint your dash vents blue to match your seats...

aside from that mad props on the 3sgte swap!
