that show's great, it's pretty freaken extreme.. but when I was in HK, there were some crazy ass japanese shows.. I remember this one contestant was on a harness and got lowered into boiling hot oil filled with dumplings, he decided to scoop up the oil with a ladle and started tossing the oil at nearby contestants and shit

Another one i remember was like fear factor here (of course this was way before fear factor) and it was 2 japanese guys, one of their stunts was walk by this box with a tiger paw sticking out of the hole (later i found out the tiger paw was fake) but the last stunt was they shoved these 2 japanese guys in 2 glass stalls that looked like outhouses outside and it was freezing (seeing their breath and also it was snow and ice everywhere), they were buck naked cept they had their ginch on, and whoever stayed in the longest would win the grand prize (i don't remember what it was, somethin like 50Gs or something). One dude got tempted by a bowl of hot noodles and gave up

That show is actualy really goddamn old. Like back in the early 90's or maybe late 80's. In Japan that is. I guess they recently brought the show over to the west or something.

japanese tv always gets something american, then twists it around with a dose of acid (perfect example: wrestling [all that barb wire and explosives!]) , anywayz.. does the most extreme elimination challenge even have a prize?? why do ppl bastardize themselves fo no reason?
