    Default Marketplace Bump

    Marketplace rule:

"There is no need to bump your thread EVERYDAY, so don't do it."

    http://forums.beyond.ca/st/238751/wtb-honda-s2000-ap2/

I wasn't aware the bumping my thread just once after 2.5 days would be deemed an offense. Thanks for the 1% deduction though.

Alright, so I read in the Rules/Regulations ToU there is a rule that states:

"Excessive bumping will result in a closed thread (once a week TOPS). "

I guess there is some discrepancy in the rule listed in there and the marketplace rule. Just thought I'd address that, so you could make it consistent. but I guess it's once a week for a bump then.

so, do you want a close thread or replace post/rating deduction?

the rules are do not contradict each other.?!

obviously I don't want either, but I'm not whining about it. I stated that I understand that the rule is "once-per-week tops" and that I'll do that from now on. All I'm trying to point out is that the rule stating that it's a "once-per-week tops" should be consistent in both the ToU and the marketplace rules thread.

and no. the rules do not contradict eachother at all, but one is much more specific than the other. it's obvious which one is much more subject to interpretation, which is what happened in my case.

just making a suggestion that I think might make beyond.ca just a tiny bit better

I dunno.. Once a week puts it pretty far down. I think twice or three times a week is more reasonable. But yeah, I've bumped my stuff after 2-3 days and haven't gotten warnings. So I guess depends on which mod sees your thread.
You have a couple of photos that are great... you must be very good at photoshop!
