As a father of a 6year old son, who is a huggie kind of boy, I couldn't imagine some adult misunderstanding a child's hug. My son hugs his teacher at the end of every class, but she gives him a choice, and handshake or a hug. All the kids hug.

The teacher in the story has some problem and shouldn't be a teacher if she doesn't understand the affection of a 4year old. Sad really.
