Dogshit Hill?
I think it is more like the pimple of Calgary...or maybe a wart...
Let it burn, I hate the place.
You ever been up there? Nothing but dogshit for as far as the eye can see.Originally posted by robpark

It lights up once every few years, what's the big deal?
I've never seen it lit up before (not doubting you, I just personally haven't seen it). Quite the flames. Lit up the whole sky around it.Originally posted by GTS Jeff

A few years back (maybe 6-7?) there was a huge fire there that they had trouble containing. They closed off the roads surrounding the park because basically only the roads themselves were stopping the fire from spreading. At least that's what I remember.
It could be a controlled burn to get rid of some of the older undergrowth to prevent a huge fire if we don't have a very rainy spring/summer/fall. Maybe in response to the huge fire yesterday in the super-dry L.A.? Probably not, but maybe.

The biggest urban park in North America and it's all shit!
I say fuck it, tear it down and build more houses.
That damn hill has one fire probably at least once every year. It gets so dry its bound to happen. All last year when my friend and I would walk her dog up there, I didn't notice tons of shit everywhere. The mosquitoes were killer though!!

In any case I can't justify calling a big treeless hill a "park."
Big lots with luxury styles homes and townhouses/condos.Originally posted by Xtrema

A highrise condo/apartment building from there would be sick

on an unrelated note, people who let their dogs shit at nosehill or anywhere else in public without picking it up should not be fined but have the shit smeared on them; the amount of shit at nosehill is disgusting
I agree, its fucking disgusting. I won't go there anymore considering everytime I do I have to peel the shit off my boots.
