They used an Intrepid motor and front wheel drive drivetrain with a Viper body on that Viper show... 125hp Front Wheel drive vipers!

It's for a movie, where reliability is more important than all out speed. Special effects and sound engineering takes care of the speed hehe.

think about it. in real world all these are supercars even in stock. the filming crew can't catch up to them so they have to make the car slower.

but it is disappointing to see a skyline got beat by s2k
