Default Home Theater Computer: Windows XP Professional or Media Center Edition?

What does MCE have that Pro doesn't? Just curious...

yeah definetly go for Media Center for a HT computer.

I would recommend Pro only if you were setting a domain network at home.

advantage of MCE over Pro for HT, is it integrates all things you need in one application 'Media Center' from where you can launch tv (record too), videos, dvd, pictures, music.
    plus iirc its cheaper too.

i cant find any good comparison list, but

I put vista premium on my HTPC.. it's on a 3.4 P4 with 1GB ram and 750GB HDD.. it runs like a million bucks for media center apps.. love it to death.
