Jesus, hopefully everyone was ok there.
Didn't one of the TT prototypes burst into flames on its initial run?
damn.. thats a smokin car
Sig nuked by mod.
I was thinking about the RS8 yesterday and was wondering if they were going to produce. I talked to a salesman at the Auto Show and said Canada won't see the RS6, so probably the same thing for the RS8 (if its produced).

There could be an RS version of the A8/S8 which would be called the RS8 in relation to the RS6 as stated above, that is why it doesent make any sense now.
Looks like the R8 to me, RS8 would be the 4 door besed on the A8, R8 is a sweet roadster. I think it had something to do with the novulari concept, which I'm sure I didn't spell correctly.Originally posted by Canmorite

WOW.......... German engineering kickass
x = way too fast
y = bump in the road
z = oh shit
x + y = z
Its still a prototype. I'm sure that they are not releasing this car to the public. Plus I'm guessing that they are testing it to the limits of the cars ability. I don't think that it was so much of a failure as a chance to make sure that when it goes into production that it won't do this to the guy who buys the car.Originally posted by CalgaryB5

I swear I saw an RS6 on the roads about 2 months ago on Deerfoot.. had to do a double take because I thought it was an RS4.. but I swear it said RS6 on the back
Yeah I have seen an RS6 on the roads and filling up at the Turbo gas station right near the glenmore audi dealer.Originally posted by Shaolin

It used to be up on Auto Trader listed by Calgary BMW in the Auto Mall
I think the R8 will come to Canada, it has already been shown on Audi canada's website. The RS8, which will be the V-10 version of the Audi R8 (which is the sports coupe that is trying to crush the 911)
War is Peace. Freedom is Slavery. Ignorance is Strength.
One thing that doesnt make a whole lot of sense... the body is made of aluminum.. in order for aluminum to melt it has to be prety damn hot (Chem majors cue in?) What are the chances that the Aluminum panels would melt, but the front tire wouldnt??
Little fishy is you ask me....
what a beautiful car. too bad that happened.
