    Default Surfing in California

Hey I was wondering if anyone knew anywhere I could find information on condos or something that could be rented for a week so that a couple of friends and I could go surfing.

We also wanna be able to check out LA and go shopping too. Is there any suggestions on where would be a good place to stay to do both of those things?

    Thanks

Do you guys know how to surf? Or just first timers??

Im looking at some condo prices right now , and the average "Beach" house is about $3000 / week for 8 bedroom.

As for LA , damn there is much to see , I love that city!

Iv been surfing since i was young, but laguna beach is a good spot. ONly like 20 min from L.a. Or huntington beach is a very good spot also. Look in those areas. Both close to La.

We hit santa cruz a couple years ago and my fav spot was Steemers lane, its right directly below the light house on the cliff in SC, you gotta climb down the cliff but there are constant 6-9' swells all the time. Just be nice to locals or they will fuck you up.
Oh ya and bring a wet suite, (not as cold as tofino but still pretty chill ass)

Bah in the summer the water is fine down there. It's bath water compared to tofino. If you're learning how to surf for the first time get lessons. The waters down there can be dangerous and the swells can change quickly. I learnt my lesson a few years ago surfing down near Irvine. Almost drowned.. going to Tofino for the weekend to surf, should be nuts.
