Inspection Question

Okay, I bought a car just yesterday and it's a 91. Before I can get it registered I will need for the car to get inspected. The car has no plate, so it's tough to drive it anywhere away from where it is parked. How do I go abouts going to a mechanic to get it inspected. Who can I bring it to and where is the cheapest place?

Your insurance can provide temporary insurance and registerys can do temp registration for mechanical/inspection purposes ONLY.

Call a few shops in your area and see what their prices are for insurance inspections and then go from there, if they got a good rep then use them.

the 2 insurance company that i have dealt with ask for the inspection within a week. so that gives u time to get it inspected.
