Damnit, I'm gonna have to bump up the HP a bit more before these cars start showing up on the street. At 19.5 psi, will the EVO be able to handle crappy Alberta pump gas?

the R32 doesnt meet the safty requirments in canada, something to do with the bumpers not being safe or something, but i dont think it would be a problem getting them from the states

Sure, as long as you run 91.. it's not optimal but the ECU will adjust the timing accordingly (downward that is )

Yeah, you must've missed all the articles that have shown otherwise. It's all about the nut behind the wheel anyways.

So far, every mag I've seen says the STi understeers when off the throttle. So where's the problem, put your foot in it The only mag I've seen that figured out what to do was Evo, from Great Britain. They basically threw the car into a corner way too fast and jammed on the gas to get it to oversteer, and it worked extremely well. its just a matter of growing the balls to do it Once people start figuring out how to use the DCCD and really wring out the STi, I have little doubt it will be able to beat an Evo. Not by much, but still beat it. It's got the edge on power and torque, similar brakes. Just a matter of figuring out how to make the rest work for you instead of against you. Personally, I'm going for the STi.

All a matter of choice. Of course, you know what I'll pick. I love straight-line performance, but autocross is still fun.

And I'm getting tired of the kids you think their Evolution is the greatest goddamn machine on the face of the Earth.

Vf-Engineering is working on a R32 supercharger. I'm not sure if HPA's 24v turbo kit would fit on there. But yes you're prob right boost on a R32 would probably kill both the STI and Evo

And for what the cost of putting the supercharger on the R32 ran you could be putting out numbers from an STi OR Evo that would eat it for lunch in a straight line. Your point is what?
