    Default Brunch in Banff

I would love to hear other suggestions on brunch in Banff other than Banff Springs Hotel.

We just ate their for Easter but now have company coming and would like to try someone new and tasty.

    Thanks

I keep hearing about Maple Leaf Restaurant, but I was hoping for a traditional brunch. I know there use to be one on Beaver Street I believe, I just can't remember the name of it. It was awesome, lots of seafood.

I know Rimrock is good as well but I am not driving to Lake Louise there just isn't enough to do there with children. Although it's my brunch preference next to Kananaskis

What's wrong with Springs hotel bunch?

It is not the best .. but at least, it is good in Alberta, good food, and good price ..

There is the option of the Nakoda Lodge...before Banff. I haven't been there yet but I have heard amazing reviews from friends. Check that out...

Nakoda Lodge is super scenic. The food is good but nothing mind-blowing.

yes I know how good the rimrock is, we stayed about 3 months ago, had deluxe room and good upgraded to a grande view room, it was unbelievable. We certainly didn't want to leave.

Even room service is fabulous at the rimrock.

We ended up at Banff Park Lodge.

I wouldn't go back. The food was average.

But it was entertaining. My children went back for dessert a million times, and the waitress kept teasing my son saying...Your not going to finish all that. When he didn't finish it all she would say, you can't leave the table. My son replied and said...what will they do. The response was someone would come and get him and they would put him to work.

When my son didn't finish jello one of the sous chefs came out and said, okay it's time to get to work. Our son got up and started to walk with him...we were all bursting with laughter. Everyone around us laughed. But all the smaller kids got scared. haha!

I would suggest the Priddis Greens buffet - it's basically a collection of some of the best food I've had and all you can eat!

when you guys talk about brunch, are you talking about buffet? we've been heading to Banff Spring for years and wouldn't mind trying something different as long as its good and its a buffet.

I know when I say brunch I mean the meal between breakfast and lunch and it is in the buffet format.

If it comes off a menu it's not brunch in my opinion!
