Subaru Justy

Hey all, I just recently had a 92 Subaru Justy donated to me by my grandpas neighbor. Its a really awesome car and love the AWD system, but the downside is... the 3 banger has a half a million K on it. I mean it still runs good but I want something better, so I was looking for input. I was essentially wondering what kind of power train or drive train upgrades I could do. I haven’t started any research but I was wondering if anyone could help me out if they know anything about this car. I have already thought of the possibilities but... what are that chances of fitting an Ej20 or sti motor in this thing. Now this car would be awesome with say a 95 sti drive and power train, does anyone know anything about what I can do? Suspension is another thing, any other cars have some sort of setup that I could make fit? Thanks in advance for any help.

i think it shares the same motor as a firefly turbo, and on a budget, thats about your ONLY option.

You're on a budget (Im guessing from the car situation), and you're talking about swapping in an sti motor?

no budget, i want to try something insaaaaane. and since i got this car for free it would be so dec with 400hp, considering i could probably lift it with my pinki. but realisticaly i want something like a 93-95 2.5 or something.

dec, as in decent. could be spealt deace, hockey term. and why do you say dont bother? is this this complete crap or wutt? seems like it has potential, i was thinking about just a 2.5 or something... but like you say could be a waste of time.
