^ where from, and how much did that dent your wallet, if you don't mind me asking?
IMHO its a bit big. I have a similar sized wrist and I'd say 44mm is the max I'd go. My 42mm Spitfire is perfect size in my mind for my wrist.Originally posted by ICEBERG
Thanks for the great comments guy's.
Just one question i have for you though. I have about a 8" wrist and was wondering if i can pull of wearing this watch? The dealer is willing to trade it in for something else if i am not happy with it. Honestly i love the watch but wondering if you guy's think SA might be too big for me. I know it is a personal preference but what do you guy's think? Here is couple wrist shots.
cheers,
George likes his Kung Pao spicy!
It's all personal preference. I like my wallet as tiny as possible, no change holder, etc. I would never by a huge phone, the iphone is pretty skinny and small. I like automatic watches because they're really skinny.
Then again I have a tiny wrist and my arm would get lost in that watch. IMO it's too big. But it is ballin!
Too big? Do YOU think it is? It's personal preference, how it makes you feel and i it's comfortable. Fuck what the rest think.
Well, i decided to part with my Super Avenger. I found the SA was little big for my wrist and couldn't really wear the watch more than couple hours. Calgary Jewellery told me to bring it in so we could trade in for something else.
After trying on the Emergency and the Navitimer i fell in love with the Chronomat. Paid about 1K more but it was worth it.
Here she is:
Hmm, I was under the impression that Quartz watches are usually slimmer than Automatics.Originally posted by scat19

Nice replacement ICEBERG!
I think my next addition to my collection will have to be an Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean

The SA is too big in my opinion and it does not look good on a lot of people.
Nice job getting the chronomat that thing is sweet. I also really like the Skyland.
It's a nice watch and clearly a quality timepiece but I think all those watches look the same and I'd never wear one....omega/breitling/tag/rolex/timex chronos - they ALL look the same...
I only wear watches with style and difference.
So what are you presently wearing that has style and is different?Originally posted by ZorroAMG

No batteries needed!
an educated guess from reading his previous posts would be Panerai, which i too find to be a very nice alternative to the brands he listed, but the Rolex's and Omega's are timeless pieces that are needed in any collection imoOriginally posted by 89coupe

That's it exactly. He was asking for others OPINION.Originally posted by ZorroAMG

In my OPINION, it's too big. And then I listed some reasons why I think it is.
I rarely wear a watch anyways, cellphones have the time
I'm not getting into another one of these dick measuring contests with you Brad, we're not talking overpriced Miele vacuums PS style and difference is subjective, take the knots out of your g-string..if you like the watches I don't, oh well.Originally posted by 89coupe

I was just curious. I don't wear an expensive watch, I was just curious to know what you considered different and stylish?
I recall reading one post a while back where he did mention his Panerai as well...so there you have it.Originally posted by ercchry

Zorro...No need to PMS at him...he asked you a simple question about your tastes as a folow up to what you said.
Relax.

LOL @ you guys, I am relaxed and I know Brad's intentions. His threads always turn out a certain way and I chose not to play.
Carry on....
The watch you wear (I'm assuming you still have the Jazzmaster Maestro) is exponentially more expensive than what is worn by the majority of the general public.
Since when were $1,300 watches not considered expensive?
