I kinda like this one
Does anyone have any experience/review on it and where I can get it in Calgary?
Tissot watches are very reliable and well made for the money. Go see Jeff at Calgary Jewellery, they carry Tissot Watches and he will give you a good deal on it.Originally posted by Silver_SpecV

I think Brinkhaus and Calgary Jewelllery are the only two that carry Rolex anyways. Both seem to give decent deals so I would cross shop.

The Canaidan MSRP on a stainless steel submariner is $8,410. It's not easy to get good discounts on the stainless steel sports models, as the dealers don't seem to have a problem selling them. 10% off seems to be the standard discount price if you are lucky.Originally posted by pinoyhero

It's getting a bit silly with the recent Rolex price increases. $8,500 for a stainless steel, mass produced watch? It was only a few years ago when the sub cost $5,000.........
Fly to Oahu.
Prices are way better and what you save on the watch will pay for your trip.

First battery powered watch to tempt me..
although I've always loved kinetic watches, because I hate relying on batteries
my philosophy is this: if there is an apocalypse, I still want to be able to tell the time, and not have to change the gimpy little disk batteries they have for watches
If there is an apocalypse, the time on your watch will be the least of your concerns.
you're confusing kinetic with automatic. Kinetic watches still run on a battery.Originally posted by Gthyjuki

Still do have the Nav_b, I've cut down my watch collection to 2 and it's my casual/travelling watch.
