A rare and unique watch like that doesn't need sales tactics.

I was going to say Bob sounded a little fishy. For an 81 year old neurosurgeon that has traveled the world, his story and replies do not seem very well spoken from a man of this stature.

Given that this is a rare watch and valued quite high, something about the story strikes me as odd.

** This thread strikes again for it's usefulness I wanted to get a new crocodile strap { for my Panerai }and now I have to think twice about importing the strap for fear of it getting held up at customs.

    Thanks everyone.

I'm certain you could buy one locally no?

Why on Earth would you waist your time importing it?

Couldn't you get an authorized seller of Panerai to get one for you?

That's what I plan for the Citizen. Now what rare species should I divulge into lol!

Just dropped it off and hopefully they can fix it! I went to other shops and they gave me a quote of $45-50 and the lady at Sears quoted me $15 if it can be fixed. Woop!

    Nice find.

It's only available in retail in europe and asia right now in fairly limited quantities, special ordered it here and they rushed it here on time for a dinner I had planned. Talk about service. Prob the first in the country to pick one up.

    On the topic of Hublots...

Funny thing is that's a real ad from Hublot haha.

Just picked up an Invicta Subaqua Noma 3 a few days ago (its no hublot, definitely out of my price range!) but this is by far the heaviest watch ive worn to date, even alongside my big face planet ocean this thing is monstrous.

Ive been looking for some time for one and now that the 4s have come out i found this one for the best price ive been able to see or get. not fancy not flashy not pricey but definitely weighty!

Thinking of buying the wife a watch for X-mas...anyone have any thoughts/comments on Philip Stein watches?

I like the look of the watch itself- any other brands you guys think I should look at?
