To live there or invest there?
We have friends that live there and love it.

I work with 3 people that own homes in Chestemere. They absolutly love it there, its quiet, your 25 min from D/T, and one even bought for $10,000 more than he sold his house for in the NW. I would recomend it!
I live there.
Its alright.
They finally have built a bank and a safeway and timmy ho's.
Great access to really any part of the city through major roads (i.e highway 1-16th ave, 17th ave, 22X)
Great place to see classic cars. lake is really dirty but fun to do water sports on.
i live thurr
on the lake
its a great place to live
lots of babes
but watch out for the fuckin photo radar.
and they havea checkstop at the opening of the landings parking lot some nights on east chestermere drive. So dont go flying through there, cause you can never see the damn cop in the road.

You know those bored stay at home moms who's entire lives revolve around driving their kids to soccer, various cleaning accessories, and worrying about neighbourhood rapists? The kind of people that watch the View and go "uh huh..." Those unfulfilled people who try to fill the void in their empty lives by writing whiny letters to the editor complaining about shit that no one really cares about?
Well imagine if instead of writing that letter to the editor, she just posts on a car forum for car enthusiasts. That's Kritafo.
thanks everyone for the reply
Used to live there and miss it. In terms of investing though, the prices have pretty much come to par with city prices. I wouldn't expect the return to be any better than it would be in the city.
