used to be 75 now 85kg, wish to lose weight till 69-70..haha
Hey man. Skipping is hard at the start. Just like anything it requires dedication and it will work for you. If you have been sedentary for a while, you may have trouble coordinating your feet to the rope and by the time you get into a rhythm the first few times you will probably be tired. At least that was how it was for me.
It's cheap to start up though and if you commit, you will get good results.

tried 10 mins of rope skipping today. it really doesnt seem to be as easy as it sounds. haha...10mins of rope skipping could lead to quite a bit of sweat out
i think they said 10 min of skipping is like running for 30 min or something along those lines!
I don't know where this information is coming from...
My PT used to tell me that skipping via rope was more for coordination as opposed to weight loss, and the only way to really burn calories with it was to skip like a mofo and increase your heart rate.
I think that line came out of one of those 'Bruce Lee Fighting Method' books by Uyehara.Originally posted by adidas
