suzuki gsx600r or yamaha r6??

ok so I really need to get a new bike. My Ninja is not happening. I have always wanted a r-6 especially this year now that it is fuel injected but lately I have my eyes on the suzuki (i think it looks nicer!). Which one is better????? I have rode the yamaha before and its alrite but i heard that the gsxr is hard to ride because of the powerband doesn't kick in till blah blah blah. watever can't remember. so any good suggestions?

personally I love the R6, but the gixxers are amazing as well I hear. I've never even sat on a gixxer though.


I've heard the opposite... that the gixxer is easier to ride...

Gixxer is harder to ride, more aggresive position. But once you ride one you'll never go to another. That sporty riding position of a Gixxer is impossible to beat.

Have you taken a look at the two bike side, by side(r6, gixxer)
The gixxer looks WAAAAAYYYY better. Go to Blackfoot and see what I mean. The new R6 looks like a cheaply made piece of junk, no offence to you R6 fans, but look at all that ugly plastic, the ugly styling, the crumby colors.

I have the new r6, it is incredible, but I hear that alot of the shops in calgary are sold out of the 03 R6. the Gsxr is a very nice bike I want to buy on of those this year also>!

id get the r6...ive ridden both bikes and i like the r6 a lot more.
yes it is the riding position that i hate on the gixx...and i do find that on the street the r6 is a lot easier to ride as well because of the power band and they way it handles...

trust me when making parking lot or slow speed maneuveurs the r6 is way easier...

but i think my next bike will be the 600rr!!

Ultimately, any 600 is soooooo far beyond a mere mortal's capability it's rediculous.. they're all so good that really you should just buy the one you think looks best.

I have a Yamaha 2000 R6 and i love it.. I do really like the look of the gsxr's and i was going to buy one.. BUt i am reallly happy w/ my R6 I love it..

8800 is a decent price i found a r6 in medicine hat for only 8000 its was 2002 too but its been dropped and i dont feel like driving 3 hours to see something i might not buy! oh well i will wait.....
