if u want really cheap flights .. go for the ones that has alot of stop overs.. like my sister is going home to philippines dis friday .. and she had 2 choices ...

    1. calgary to vancouver, vancouver to korea(stay one night) then korea to philippines = $1200

    2. Calgary to vancouver and then vancouver to philippines = $1800

so try n get something that will take longer they're usually cheaper

I just saw on the news the other day, that there is a new asian airlines that is coming to Vancouver. Its supposed to be really cheap like $800 to China! Sorry i forget the name but it should be on Van. city flights. Its either Air China or China Air lines. If they don't fly direct to Signapore maybe theres a cheap connector flight. Good luck, i hope this hepled!

air china= my mum took to china, and she said there were ppl spitting in the plane, i think they are mainland chinese and it freaked her out

china airlines= basically taiwan airlines. i took this from singapore>>taiwan>>vancouver>>taiwan>>singapore--one month ticket cost ard 900cad. stay over in taiwan for 2 nights.

seats are small , very asian size seats with limited onboard entertainment. Other than that, its pretty ok.

any agencies that my aunt could get the tickets from and are cheap? she's bringing 2 kids so i doubt she would want to do many transits. oh yah she's travelling in november.

That would be Oasis airlines you are talking to. And yeah they're super cheap. Buy at the right time and you can get ~300$ before taxes one way to Hong Kong... no, i'm not shitting you. Thing is, they only fly from Vancouver to HK. So you gotta get layovers anyways.
