    OMG!

    That wasn't a deer, that was a god-damn fawn!

Poor thing. Guy knocked it's brains out. Glad the driver wasn't killed -- and that last statement is 100% correct -- "leather and a helmet WILL save your ass"!

    Man. Crazy.

i hope this isn't just me.... but the whole thing sorta looks chopped...
    the deer looks SO superimposed.......
and shouldn't the bike have been JUST a lil bit totalled? b/c going at that kinda speed and hitting an "object" like that would often make a bike fall and slide?

he wasnt going THAT fast... just look at the road.

he only cranked that thing in the head too. it's not like he hit a retaining wall, he nailed a deer in the head.

why would someone go to the trouble to chop that? jesus..

Seriously -- yah -- I'm not too sure how many people would want to chop that since -- well -- it's not THAT easy and second -- well -- why?! lol

Back in 1995 Richard from RB Motorcycle Dynamics and myself were riding to a friends house to work on his bike , and I was in the lead.
I was about to hammer on the gas for a straight stretch of road coming up when a little voice in my head said "that's not a good idea.." so I held off. I got passed by another guy on a CBR600, and then by Richard. We were coming up to the crest of a hill, and the other guys were pulling away from me. All of the sudden a deer comes bounding out of the ditch on the right side and ALMOST smashed the guy on the CBR, turned back into the ditch, then darted out RIGHT in front of Richard.. he drilled that fucker HARD.
I remember seeing a haze/corona of blood, fiberglass, glass and plastic in the air, it was really surreal. Richard went out the front door (over the bars) and landed on his back, but as he was in the air I noticed his leg was bending around wildly BELOW the knee.. not a good sign.
I crested the hill just in time to see Richards bike destroying itself in the ditch on the right side, it was filled with rocks, boulders and chunks of pavement.. I was looking to see where Richard was, fully expcting him to be torn to pieces by the huge rocks. I stopped and I could hear him screaming, which I took as a good thing -He was still alive.
Turns out he went into the ditch on the left side, which was nicely manicured and cleaned out by the property owner on that side of the road. He got away with a double-compound fracture of the right lower leg and a broken wrist.
Took him a a while to walk properly after that, but he's back to 99%, and we were riding around before he even got his cast off.

I'll try to post some pics of the bike if I can find them!

you think the deer should be moving like 30km/h? lol
"A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to fear. The traitor is the plague.”
