i couldnt' find anything
but i will be needing to buy an old car or truck soon (like 90ish) and i was curious how inspection works in AB. Do i need to get an inspection on any AB vehicle i buy or is there an age limit that it set? how does it work?

If it's an out of province vehicle, you need an out of province inspection (pretty strict about the criteria too)
Otherwise it's up to your insurance agency, some don't require a safety inspection at all, some say anything over 15 years requires one, some 10 years.
These safety inspections can very in strictness depending on the mechanic. Some will fail a windshield for any crack, some will fail for a crack in the drivers view, some won't fail it at all (unless it's a huge spider web type crack)
