Someone hit my parked car a few days ago, a neighbour said he think he saw a black suv speed off. Today I notice a black blazer across the street with damage that looks like it would have done to my car. Should I confront him and see what he says or report to police. There probably wouldnt be enuf evidence to link it to him.... or should I just bash his windows and call it even lol? I have already filed a police report because it was over 1000.

ha, Call the cops let them sort it out.. If he's a dick and did it and left, fuk him.. Thats how I got the moron who hit my car.. Ruff desription, found it parked down the road with some damage on it, called the cops and they took care of it.. it was him alright.. in my case...

DON'T go to him first. Call the police, and have THEM go to him. It's less likely he can come up with a story on the spot with a police officer there. If you confront him before, that's more time for him to get his story straight.

I say fuck him and call the cops. You should show no mercy to these pricks. I had a loser backup into my car at dalhousie station - once he realized he hit me, he took off. Had to chase this guy all around Dalhousie before he stopped. He must of saw me take out my camera phone and snap a few pictures (albeit shitty ones) - but pics none the less.

A friend of mine at work had her car hit by someone on the weekend too. People who hit and run have to be taught a lesson.

Well I went to have a closer look and I cant say it was 100% him so can't do much. Guess I will have to suck it up and pay the deductable. Thanks for the tips

I don't know why you wouldn't atleast get the cops to have a look.. I'm sure he wouldn't even mind if it wasn't him, if the cops casually came by to have a look...

Yeah because he wouldn't know who called the cops
I think it would be better if you just went and talked to him unless you are 100% sure he hit your vehicle... No sense in calling the cops if you just think he did it..

Actually there is. The cops WILL question him about it, and if he's lucky, the other guy might confess to it when a police officer comes knocking on his door. Even better if the guy hears there's a witness tho saw a vehicle like his hit the car.

This is exactly what happened to me. I had nothing until the woman who smashed my car confessed when the police came to visit her. Now she's been charged, and is paying $3k to fix my car.
