NE Telus ADSL users: slow?

Anyone in the NE (I'm in monterey) experiencing some really slow internet performance lately, especially horrible in the past 2-3 nights? I ran their speed test thing and the best I got was 30kB/s, which quickly degraded to 10kB/s then to 6kB/s

Oh yeah, did that already but was curious as to whether or not anyone else was experiencing the same thing. I always hate calling those support desks anyways because nobody really knows anything and they always try to give you any answer to get off the phone with you. Unfortunately for him, I'm far from clueless when it comes to computers and networks so I wasn't taking the standard dummy answers. Either there isn't anything wrong in our area or he just didn't know.

@speedtech, Horrible performance..it takes like 15 mins to load a single page during the day.
