    okay....
well i basically had my car sold... i had two buyers for it
so i went and test drove a nsx... it was super sexy
but it in my opinion it wasnt better/much better then the s2k
it felt more stable in the turns a bit but the s2k felt more fun like a big go-kart... and i couldnt get over how old if felt inside... it felt like i was driving a 91 prelude or something
also found out it didnt have power steering, i didnt like that.

personally i like the s2k better! felt sooo new... more raw... more fun!!!

this is just my opinion though

im not going to sell the s2k anymore... i thought the nsx was the only car i could sell it for... maybe one day i have to go try out a 2002+ nsx... probably whole different story

The S2000 is just as fast as an early NSX so you're really not gaining much from switching outside of higher maintenance costs and great looks.

And IMO, i doubt an NSX will hold it's value better. An older S2000 in the low 20s that's kept in good condition will never go much lower. It's one of those cars that people will always have fun driving so there will always be a demand for them at that price. $20,000 is nothing now adays. You can't even buy a newer used Miata for that. It will hold it's value around that price range just like all the more rare "fun cars" out there.

That's gotta be the first time I've heard someone turn down an NSX for an S2K!
Good on you, S2K FTW, turbo that bitch!

I'll have to take an S2k for a drive, besides my Lexus my NSX has the best interior I've been in, but different strokes right.

About the first gen NSX's being about the same speed as the S2k's, I ran 13.8 @ 101mph with my stock NSX, the guys closer to sea level are usually low 13's, what does an S2k run at Bud Park? I'd like to maybe go for a cruise with an S2k guy and see the difference, personally I'd have trouble seeing the S2k keep up on the highway, but I've never played with one.

Its not an opinioned question, its a fact. NSX definitly holds its value better than the s2000.

RHD rx7s are out, but LHD ones are still selling for the same price... Its not honda civics we're talking about here. Everyone tries to factor in the RHD effect, but realistically, it doesnt make a significant different

There's no NSX market to "flood" and considering that the RHD cars are just as expensive, I can't see it being a factor.

I have driven both cars and i would pick nsx any day of the week.

I do know however that new nsx parts are alot more expensive then any other honda parts but that would not sway my choice.

I am biased however, the nsx has been one of my favorite cars since 91.

S2000 is a nice car don't get me wrong, but nsx is in a different leauge imo.

Only a few are. The clutch, timing belt, big stuff.

Little things I've had to replace haven't cost me much. Like trim pieces (it's an aluminium door, you don't have to slam it!) are still Honda-cheap!

Parts from a dealership are always expensive, the side mirror for my 89 Jeep from the dealership they wanted $800.00. If you want NSX parts there are several places where you can get OEM parts much cheaper than through Acura.

The thing is how much is a decent NSX worth? $40,000? And another question what is this snap ring range that i read about on other forms? Cory D would you ever sell yours?
