Just because you're older... doesn't mean you need older women. Nothing wrong with an 18 year old here and there!

incredible
Had something similar happen to me a couple years ago, made me pucker after I realized how bad it could have been.
In my situation it was not a case of lack of upkeep, there was a recall on it just after I had the work done to fix it.
I was driving to work (Bragg Creek -> central north Calgary) on Hwy 1 and hit a pothole on 16th Avenue right at the base of the hill leading up to the Foothills Hospital (this was before the new Children's was built, and long before the new interchange was even a pipe dream). The truck seemed to jump about a foot to the right, which startled me, but I corrected my path and carried on.
I went thru the Burger King drive-thru at 16th x 19th NW, and intended to go into the North Hill Mall to stop at Shopper's for some snacks prior to carrying on. So I went down 14th Av to go in the back way.
When I crossed the LRT tracks just east of 19th, my front end was shaking so violently I had to stop the truck lest I lose control of it. I managed to limp it into the parking lot and found that the right front wheel had become separated from the steering rack. I'm sure that's what I felt at 16 x Shag, and just before that, I had been doing ~110 on the highway.. who knows what would have happened if it had packed it in on me out there.
