Hey guys, a friend has a 97 Saturn (not sure on model) and has a Sony cdx-gt310 cd deck that she wants installed. She was told previous that the installation might cause her alarm to no longer function, just wondering if that was true or not?

the door alarm will not work... the module is built into the sterio... you can buy a aftermarket module for this though that has to be wired in... any sterio shop with a decent install guy should be able to show ya

the door chime module didn't come into GM cars until 2002 so who ever told your friend that is on Crack.. the friend with the saturn should have nothing to worry about..
