Hey guys. I was just wondering if anyone knows any shops around town that sell window tinting equipment. Just the usual: spray bottles, squeegees, and such. Thanks.

Wal-mart?
I want stuff that was designed to do the job right, not some cheap stuff.
Home Depo.. buy a pump up 1-2 gal sprayer, you can get your steel wool and other amonia free cleaners as well.. you can also get a window clamp stand there as well... as for the the squeegees, a nice silcone one can be had from a body shop supply store (usualy sold by the foot)

Just because you're older... doesn't mean you need older women. Nothing wrong with an 18 year old here and there!
You can get those from auto value when I did my tint, I got one from auto value for a buck and used an old bottle of windexOriginally posted by ninspeed

Thanks. Anybody know a good ratio for water and dishsoap mixture, I've heard 50:1 but that seems a bit hight too me. Should I even be using dishsoap, are there premixed liquids that I can buy?Originally posted by ninspeed

We used to use Johnson's baby wash/shampoo. Only 2 or 3 drops per spray bottle, just enough to let the tint "slip".
