Shelby Cobra?

I was wondering if anyone in Calgary owns a real Shelby Cobra. I saw one the other day and wasnt sure if it was a kit car or not (Didnt get a real good look at it, It was just parked in a parking lot and I just had a few glances). It was black w/ silver racing stripes.

I saw a Blue w/ white stripes 1967 fully mint non restored Cobra GT500 with *gasp* 4100 miles on it in this little beach town in washington.
