    Default Superstore's Free Trade Act?

This probably doesnt apply just to Superstore, but it might be their company policy?

I bought some items from Superstore, and they charged me incorrectly on a case of soda... so when I went to ask the customer service desk about it, they gave me some blurb about the Free Trade Act, and processed my transaction.. I thought I was gonna get the difference put back on my credit card, but from what I can understand on my receipt, they gave me a full refund on the case of pop, and on top of that, I got to keep the pop.

Was this a mistake, or is there such a thing like that?

Edit: No sence of humour? I meant maybe that helped in the transaction.

That is how it supposed to work. The first item free, the rest at the cheaper price.

its the scanning code of practice. if the scanned item comes up with the wrong price, you get it free, up to $10. or something like that.

not all stores use the scanning code of practice though.

As an ex-price-checker of superstore this is how it worked:

If you got charged wrong (More, not less) you got up to $10 off the original item (so if it's <$10, it's free) and then you get the cheaper price on the rest of the items. Then I would go out, get the bad tag, and fix it.

So yea, if it's less than 10, it's free, but only on the first one. If it's more then 10, you get 10 off.

That's why I just say I have a 4" dick and lift weights to make up for it.

It happened to my cousin also. They bought a case of pop and they charged wrong. So they went to get the price difference but they got the item for free and what ever they paid for it.
