After washing my car (again) i'm convinced that a good pressure washer will be more economical in the long run to clean the car (also house, deck, walkway, etc). Any good recommendations for washers?
cheers

You can wash your car, wash your house, wash your sidewalk, wash your deck, you can WASH anything with it!!!!

The kind of people that watch the View and go "uh huh..." Those unfulfilled people who try to fill the void in their empty lives by writing whiny letters to the editor complaining about shit that no one really cares about?
Well imagine if instead of writing that letter to the editor, she just posts on a car forum for car enthusiasts. That's Kritafo.
PW's are great, I have a small electric model that's easy to lug around and fits easily in the trunk of a car. "Only" 1500PSI, but still enough power to clean pretty much anything short of scouring concrete.
^^ word! I have that 1900PSI Simmonize one and it rocks!
Don't my crappy tire Jobmate shit. Go entice by low price and bought one. Hose crap out under pressure on 1st use.
Unless, you get a High pressure, gas powered one....it really doesnt work for car washing like the one's at the bays. I had hand wash most of the time anyways so the Pressure washer is great for the house, deck, windows, cobb webs etc.
Is this some secret code or something?Originally posted by Xtrema

That's what I was worried about, I don't think that gas powered washer is in the cards quite yet...Originally posted by bobby_lu

Electric just won't cut it for what you want. I have used many electric models and they are pretty shitty for washing cars. Save up for a gas powered one.

Just so you know, it's fucking LOUD!!! They are sweet though. At work we pressure wash, soap, pressure wash then just let it dry and it dries without water spots and is always nice and clean. It doesn't get mosquito blood off though (on the front from the highway). It's cool for cleaning wheels/tires too.
Oh and 90% of the time it won't splash back on you, but be careful for corners and things (around the mirrors, bumpers and stuff)
