Jesus that song looks so fun to play. I'm goin to have to learn that too, and then we can all jam on it ahaha
I was actually thinking of learning bass on that song, because there's only 1 guitar haha.

Has anyone ever built a guitar? I found a body that I love on ebay and am wondering if anyone would recommend it or not, why?
Never built one personally.
If you are going to build it take your time. Don't rush.
Here's a few websites I google'd quickly.

Hey fellow beyonders
I have always wanted to play an instrument but never actually tried...NOW I have finally decided that I want to learn how to play the guitar but don't know where to start...should I get myself a guitar or get some lessons before getting a guitar...also if there is any places in calgary that teaches guitar lessons to beginners...any help is appreciated
Thanks
Ryaz
Do a search on "guitar" here in the entertainment forum and it should pull up a few good threads from recent months. I was in the same boat as you earlier this year and got lots of good advice from a few members here. How much to spend, what amps to look at, etc.Originally posted by $lick_rYz

Good place to start.
Buy a cheap used guitar and take some lessons. Lessons will teach you theory and techniques. Good news is, if you don't like it you still get something out of it but didn't spend a lot. If you do enjoy, welcome to the club of spending way too much in a music store....like when you initially just went to pick up strings and walk out with a new guitar and ampOriginally posted by $lick_rYz

Yo $lick_rYz,
So if you notice the threads. It really comes to your budget. If you can tell us what your budget is we might be able to narrow down the guitar that we can suggest and what else you would need.
Also, what music would you like to play? Folk? country? rock? funk?
If you read this thread as well you will find out that you really need to devote your time to it. Practice, pratice practice!!! And don't give up even if your fingers are burning already. (You'll know how this feel when you start )
