Ya, I built some crazy ass shit with Lego as a kid. I had a thing for AMC Eagle AWD's as a kid for some bizarre reason, so I spent a lot of time going to the library and reading up on how AWD works in that car. I even hitchhiked to the library once cuz my parents were too lazy to drive me haha. Ya, I'm a nerd.
I'd be down for a group buy if anyone's setting one up.
No money at the moment, the kits on there are 3-500 bucks for the ac30

I need to fix a couple amps before I start worrying about tubes.

I run my ac30 through a fender tonemaster 2x12, it has kickback legs so I figured why NOT add the rest of the piggyback hardware? I couldn't come up with a good answer, so....
Definitely sounds much different when tilted back, and it was a pretty easy job once I got the proper hardware.

I got rid of our spare bedroom and turned that into my music room. Last time I hung all my guitars on the wall, I put enough hooks for the amount of guitars that I had. This time I was smart and put as many hooks as could possibly fit on a 10' wall. I can fit 15, so I have a few spare spots for future bad decisions.
When I finished the basement I insulated all the walls and ceilings and used resilient channel on the ceiling, so this room is MUCH better insulated than the basement living room. I'm thinking of building a few acoustic baffles and bass traps to help a bit with the low end. I've got my computer in that room as well, and it's hooked up to a HT amp with 5 speakers and 2 subs so I can play along with videos/etc and have it loud enough that it doesn't get lost underneath the volume of the amps.

Setup looks awesome, I can't wait to have room for my gear.
Bass content warning:
It's a miserable day out, decided to try to rip off some stone roses.
Squier bass vi>space station>supermoon chrome>fender bronco
The space station is there for a bit of higher frequency synth sounds, not sure if it comes through on the vid though

boring post, but I thought i would post none the less. Recently I have been on the hunt for a better way to store unused pedals, and found Ikea has a great solution, they retail for $60 but I scored all 3 for $110 by looking used locally.
Found some more on kijiji, JUST had enough room for my unused stuff, still figuring out what to do with the rack gear. here is what a few look like together, sorted by time based/verb, dirt, and modulation...
Here is a link to the unit, it is also capable of being lit through a hole in the top panel, I would estimate you can fit over 30 boss style pedals in each one.

Holy shit, I just have two
Speaking of pedals, anyone have or used a Boss RV-3? Opinions on it?
Great reverb pedal, does the normal reverb fine and some great "out there" stuff as well. Johnny greenwood from radiohead has used on for the last 20 years.

I just noticed this thread hasn't been touched in 2 years to the day. How's everyone doing?
Who's still playing? Who's still addicted to gear acquisition?
Something noteworthy for Ibanez fans is its the 30th anniversary of the JEM this year and they are doing a special limited anniversary re-release of the 3 original neon coloured JEMs. They were officially unveiled at NAMM this week.
I really haven't played much, and when I do, it's all through iRig + iPad which is pretty lame. I really do miss jamming with others, but zero time.
If anything, I'm singing with the kids more often lately through Rock Band, might actually go and take some voice lessons with them at some point. Our 3 year old can finish a couple of songs that he knows on medium difficulty.

Have wanted a Jem ever since seeing people playing them on Youtube. Dunno why, I'm normally a Fender/Gibson snob, but it just looks cool to me for some reason.
Still learning. Bought my 4th guitar recently, can't resist pretty things.
Might be moving to the US soon. If I do I'll be selling both my Strat and my Godin with Rolland guitar synth. Keeping the Les Paul till I die.

Bought 3 new ehx pedals this weekend, though more so to cop kid a era radiohead drum sounds than guitar specific. Here is my latest guitar, squier bass vi that I reworked

Hey Rage chop chop pickup that Axe !!!
A Ferrari is a high maintenance chick, you spend money regardless of what you do with her. You can baby the C63, or slap on all seasons, and you won't be spending anything but yearly maintenance. Of course that's like dating a stripper and refusing to fuck her, which would make you gay.
