Lol. If thats like a 0.60mm pick i'll start saving them lol.

Do the Tortex picks come in like a 5 pack or something? Or do you buy them individually?

Would a pick of that thickness be primarily for bass??

I like the very precise feel of it. Then thin ones just feel very flimsy and inaccurate. I used to use thin ones when I was just starting.

I prefer thicker picks as well. The only problem I have is that my attack angle tends to cause them to slide along the string on the downpicks. I usually give the edges a quick rub against a piece of emery cloth or sandpaper to rought them up so they catch better, and don't draw the string as much.

Being a horrible and shitty guitar player, little inconsistencies like that tend to completely fuck up my rhythm.

Dig in less... only the very tip of the pick should be hitting the strings, it will only get caught if you are trying to use the whole pick to pluck the string.

I tend to use stubby 2mm picks, lately I've been out and had to carve a 1mm into a stubby.

I have that same wah pedal.
Here's a page I found with some modification.

    http://homepage.ntlworld.com/s.castl...enfuz/wah.html

I've never much cared for the tone (too thin). I'm going to try to jack the volume as well, as it's alays bugged me how much my levels drop as soon as the wah is turned on.

I have an original crybaby too. The volume levels isn't really a problem with lotsa distortion . I actually like the drop in volume levels, at full sweep there's way too much feedback even with the dropped volume levels.

I'm using the Steve Vai bad horsey wah now, sweep's a little different, but the best part is no on/off toggle, it automatically turns on when you step on it, and turns off to bypass when you're off if.
