Need more guitar discussion

Its a Mesa Stiletto Deuce, gain just below half, bass straight up at noon, mids bumped up to about 2 o'clock, treble straight at noon, and then at liberal volume. No pedals, no reverb, nothing, that's just the amp through my Orange 4x12 into a SM57 then Cubase. The pickup and guitar help - its an Ibanez S7320 with a Bareknuckle Nailbomb, which is HANDS DOWN the best sounding pickup I have ever heard in anything ever. I have one in both my Charvel and the Ibby and my god, this thing slays. I recommend them highly for every guitar you own

I don't think the Pod has a Stiletto model - if there is a Splawn Quick Rod or Laney on there, you might be able to get something close.

As far as jamming goes I've been busy with school & work but I'll give you a shout this weekend. I'll bring my Charvel out, you might dig that guitar... sounds like a Les Paul, and is as heavy as one, but plays like a Stratocaster. I want to play the floyd'd les paul

I know that felling/impulse. Just before I left for my London trip, I found one of these locally and put it on layaway:



Its a 2007 Ibanez SZ320EX, in white. Mahogany body, set-in neck, fixed bridge. And under $500 CDN (and still brand new in box). A great, simple well-rated guitar suitable for a noob like me. No trem to mess with, etc.

I suspect I will spend more time playing this in the near future than my RG.
