Free: ADOPT A JACK RUSSELL TERRIER

My sister in law's parents have a Jack Russell Terrier and can't keep the dog anymore (Father is not feeling well and they can't give the dog the proper attention anymore). He is 6 yrs old (named Benjamin) light brown and white, w/ "mickey mouse" markings on his back. He's a very active dog and loves to be outside. No health problems, shots are up to date and has been neutered. The humane society will have to put him down very soon if they cannot find a good home.

UPDATE#1: I talked to my sister in law. She said the Jack Russell is great with other dogs despite what the other post says. Benjamin plays with a neighbour dog who is 2-3 times his size without any problems.

Whoa, that part about having to put him down is scary. I could never imagine having to put down my dog just because I couldn't find a good owner for her, so best of luck in having someone adopt the dog. Jack Russell's are cute!

I'd rather put down my dog than place him into any other home.

I'd rather not live with the possibility that he MIGHT not be treated as good as he should be.

But I don't forsee any need to ever give up my dog until he dies naturally.
