i saw a bunch of them at best buy in deerfoot meadows. they were $150 and could cool down a room of 100-150sq ft. i assume it is portable, cause it wasnt window mounted. is this what your looking for?

i saw that one i dont think its really air conditioning.. i think its the dehumidefier air cooler kinda thing

I was at Home Depot on 130th Ave SE last night, they had one left and told me it was all that was left in any Home Depot city wide...... I did not take it, it was a return and the lady did not know the reason it was returned..... It also was not portable.......


100-150 sqft is small, but good enough for the bedroom, I might have to go see that one at Best Buy.

i dun think theres portable a/c,cause theres would be exhaust which would heat the room

I think what the OP is looking for are the ones that have an exhaust hose that run to a window. You can set the unit in any room that has a window and it sits on the floor. We have one and I have to say, you pay ALOT more per BTU for the portable unit vs. the window mounted ones.

A buddy of mine picked up a unit for 550.00 at Costco... Does 400-450 sqft and is on wheels...

So yes it is in fact portable.....

I am going to go there and see if there are any more left.....

I got mine tonight.... 605.00 (taxes included) at Canadian Tire... does 450 sqft it says......

i've been using one from c anadian tire for a year or so. It say 600 sq feet though it NEVER turns off in a 400sq foot room. Cools it off about 5 degrees or so.

Yes.... I am 5'8 and this thing stands up to my waiste. So pretty small, light weight to carry plus it is on wheels..... Move it room to room as long as there is a window to vent it out.
