Surely she's going to get some money and lots of publicity if she is planning on suing Walmart.
that was crazy, the consumer is very good with documenting everything though, I think Walmart might be fucked for this one.

Well I have now had this chemical burn for 11 days, (As of July 3rd) I really thought it would just go away on it's own.
That's great news! Sounds like it's clearing up!Originally posted on that website
It is absolutely going away very well at all..
So you're admitting it couldn't have been the sandals?Originally posted on that website
I have only worn those shoes 15 minutes here, half an hour there, hour there...and so on, NOT enough time to burn my feet like this!
11 days later and just NOW you're thinking of going to the hospital? Moron.Originally posted on that website
last night(7-09-07 around midnight) was very scary, I really thought I was going to end up in the ER
Really? I would have thought a 3 year old could walk perfectly in a pair of foam strapped to his feet. And when is the last time you've ever seen an adult pair of sandals come in the size needed for a 3 year old?Originally posted on that website
The only reason I didn't buy MY OWN son a pair of these is because I thought he would not be able to walk well in them, he is only 3 after all.
This lady is stupid plain and simple. Ya it sucks her feet got jacked by the sandals but if she wasn't stupid she would have done something about it on day 1. I've done the exact same thing, spilled paint thinner on my feet, pulled my socks off, cleaned the area and put my socks back on. Stupid idea because the thinner on my socks just soaked into my skin and caused it to actually peel off in a painful layer a few days later but I had treated it before then.

Thanks for the post, my wife has about 27 pairs of flip flops from there i'll pass it on.
Excellent comparison, a well-known toxic substance (paint thinner) to a pair of sandals. BravoOriginally posted by em2ab

Also, this lady lives in the states, where healthcare is not provided by the government, and it sounds like she doesn't have insurance, so she has more incentive ($$$) to see if it clears up. It's not like she instantly knew it was a chemical burn.
Hmm because we know for 100% it was the sandals that caused that to happen..Originally posted by ZedMan

Did anybody notice that on the letter from Wal-Mart's claim company that the manufacturer is called "Import-Fuqing"?
How can you go wrong with a company called Import-Fuqing?
