Surely she's going to get some money and lots of publicity if she is planning on suing Walmart.

that was crazy, the consumer is very good with documenting everything though, I think Walmart might be fucked for this one.

Ya......that's exactly what I think when my skin starts melting off the bones. Medical help is for suckers.

That's great news! Sounds like it's clearing up!

So you're admitting it couldn't have been the sandals?

Really? I would have thought a 3 year old could walk perfectly in a pair of foam strapped to his feet. And when is the last time you've ever seen an adult pair of sandals come in the size needed for a 3 year old?

This lady is stupid plain and simple. Ya it sucks her feet got jacked by the sandals but if she wasn't stupid she would have done something about it on day 1. I've done the exact same thing, spilled paint thinner on my feet, pulled my socks off, cleaned the area and put my socks back on. Stupid idea because the thinner on my socks just soaked into my skin and caused it to actually peel off in a painful layer a few days later but I had treated it before then.

Excellent comparison, a well-known toxic substance (paint thinner) to a pair of sandals. Bravo

Also, this lady lives in the states, where healthcare is not provided by the government, and it sounds like she doesn't have insurance, so she has more incentive ($$$) to see if it clears up. It's not like she instantly knew it was a chemical burn.

Hmm because we know for 100% it was the sandals that caused that to happen..

Did anybody notice that on the letter from Wal-Mart's claim company that the manufacturer is called "Import-Fuqing"?

How can you go wrong with a company called Import-Fuqing?
