i just got back from picking my car up from the shop. it was getting its hood, front bumper, and left front fender painted and thats it. and when i'm halfway home i turn down the music and notice its not idleing right, the check engine light is on, and when i go to pop the hood, the plastic pull thing to open it is fucked up. bullshit.

when it idles, it seems like the engine is kinda struggling to keep going. like little bursts of engine rev.

anybody have an idea as to what that might mean? i'll probably go get the codes checked tomorrow

It sounds like maybe they have unplugged a sensor. Just speculating, but when I forgot to plug back in my mass air flow sensor on my old car (92 laser rs) the engine idled and ran really rough. I thought I broke the engine! Plugged it back in and everything was dandy. Maybe just a take a look and see if everything a-okay in the engine bay.

huh? what are you talking about, plastic hole? i'm not even concerned about the plastic hood lever. all i asked about was the idling
